Back to The Tyne for the second NONAME party of the summer…and after the raucous Bassline House antics of Dexplicit and global stylings of Vamanos, we welcome for a North East debut a severely up ‘n’ coming Dj and surely one of the busiest players on the electronic music scene - JACKMASTER.
JACKMASTER releases music by the likes of Rustie, Hudson Mohawke, and Lory D via his genre defining labels ‘Wireblock’ and ‘Dress 2 Sweat’ as well as putting on some of the UK’s finest parties as part of Glasgow ‘Numbers’ clubnight (voted 2nd best club in the country by MixMag) and providing mixes for the likes of Wire, Fact and Vice magazine and not least devastating dance floors across the world with his amazing DJ sets. Which generally awesomely combine techno, electro, hip hop, booty, dubstep, bassline, UK funky and all round club bangers!!!
The hugely in demand Dj he can be found playing at the likes of the BLOC weekender, Fabric and Berlin, Barcelona and was personally requested by none other than Modeselektor to play alongside them in Paris. The boy is in demand and knows his shit. Sure to blow the arch off the Tyne And it’s all for free!!!

Alongside the headliner we also have top notch support from likes of:
ARTWHORE (Steve Leggett and Robert Burrough) these guys are well loved and well respected in the North East for their live sets encompassing techno and detroit leanings, soundtrack styled for either dance floor or dance piece. They whipped up the crowd at their last NONAME appearance last Summer and most recently were commissioned to develop a live latin inspired soundtrack at the ¡VAMOS! Weekender at a swimming pool as well as working successfully with Surface Areas Dance Theatre.
DARREN LAWS is almost an elder statesmen of electronic and left field action in the region. A resident of the hugely influential Bing Bong Rooms and therefore an integral part of the first wave of outdoor Tyne parties in the early/mid 90’s, Darren left his native North East to A&R at Grand Central Records and pursue his Dj career. He has Dj’d all over the world including USA, Moscow, Australia to Dubai and it is great to welcome him back with a rare set at The Tyne.
NIK BARRERA who as part of the NONAME team has for a long time been established in the region as a Dj, promoter and creative type. Previous club incarnations and involvements include Traveller and The Bing Bong Rooms. Currently taking 3D DISCO™ to the masses with NOVAK
NOVAK is made up of 5 artists and 3 creative businesses in the North East and work on a variety of projects from arts events and festivals, DJ, AV and Vj performance as well as design and motion graphics - they are also the brain-children behind 3D DISCO™ which makes it festival debut performing every night of Glastonbury this year and have recently supported Kraftwerk! For this NONAME 1/5 of the crew steps away from the midi’d-up VJ kit for a debut Dj set at The Tyne!
PROGRAMMED BY NOVAK COLLECTIVE
NONAME IS SPONSORED BY BRUGAL RUM & SUPPORTED BY THE TYNE BAR
Big thanks to ‘Drop the Bass’ for topping it all off with their soundsystem (www.dropthebass.co.uk)
Things kick off from 5pm and it’s all definitely wrapped up by 11pm so make sure you get early!
