NOVAK performed their 3D DISCO™ show over 3 nights at Glastonbury this year. This edits captures the madness that was an 3D AV show combined with Silent Disco.

The music is the perfectly named 3D Action Jackson by Lando Kal on the Numbers label.

This edit show's gigs from our 3D DISCO™ travels, including the 3D DISCO™360 installation at the 02 Arena, Videocrash alongside DJ Yoda and Addictive TV, Trafalgar Square with Calvin Harris, Glastonbury, Romania (with Kraftwerk!), Glasgow with Nmbrs crew and Leeds with our Wax:On friends…

Thanks to all the DJs, producers and performers who came and helped make the Tyne a unique and special place every single summer in NCL: Dave Guy, Fratelli Di Rimini, Adika, Vamanos, Dexplicit, Nik Barrera, Darren Laws, Artwhore, Jackmaster, Novak, Daly/Suono, Cathode and Joker.

NOVAK were commissioned by North Tyneside Council and for 2 nights in December we brought this beautiful building back to life!

'Diversión' is part of NorthTyneside's Year of the Arts 2010-2011.

We had a great night at our studio with two new websites - this site and of course www.3ddisco.tv  - being officially launched as well a long-planned informal studio social.

Clients and friends filled the place checking out the sites, some brand new 3D polarised content and of course home-made novelty party food (centipede sandwiches and cucumber crocodile!).

Was good to catch-up with people and sure we'll do more of these informal studio gatherings...

It incorporates the Courgarette's re-edit of the theme with audio from the film plus our own 3D Disco treatment on top... To view properly you will need red+blue 3D glasses obviously.

The latest tune off the debut Magnetic Man album is 'Anthemic' featuring P. Money. The music video includes NOVAK elements we've developed for the live show. Check it here.

Diversión is a striking abstract and evocative reflection of the bygone days at Spanish City's Dome. The looped 9-minute animation combines graphical elements, photography and muted 'aged' imagery to convey a fairground aesthetic that intimately relates to the building's surface via video mapping techniques. This work fills the exterior of the building with vibrant colours bringing this restored landmark to life in a totally unique way.

Alongside the filmic elements NOVAK have created an sumptuous soundtrack complete with echoed fairground layers, orchestral elements and a subtle homage to Dire Straits 'Tunnel of Love' which itself celebrates Spanish City.

Following this commission we have since gone on to deliver high profile video mapping commissions, for example the official Nintendo 3DS launch in 2011.

Diversión will be part of Shimmer - a collection of outdoor video artworks on the Links, Promenade and beach area. Infinite Arts and Gavin Lockhart will be creating new works with schools and community groups. To find out more about Shimmer go here.

Diversión returned last w/e to a busy turn out and gushing response to the video, mapping and soundtrack from the public. It was great to be able to show the work again and here's to more mapping work!
